We host a pool party for the Beth-El Mission
Our Partnerships
Bayshore Presbyterian Church takes an active role in the betterment of our community. An example is our mission with the Beth-El Ministries, which helps migrant farm workers become self-sufficient through worship and educational programs. As part of our mission, our members provide Christmas Gifts for each member of the many families we are honored to help. We also supply food throughout the year, provide a pool party for the children each summer, provide school supplies and so much more as needs arise.
We normally sponsor a “Swim Party” for the children of Beth EL. This year because of COVID-19 we had to cancel.
This past Christmas we sponsored many families at Beth-El with gifts. Our congregation filled their wish lists so that each family member would receive several gifts!
Our Community Involvement
The 3 cents a meal program
The 3 cents a meal program assists three different opportunities to help those in need.
Here’s how those pennies work:
$32.85 annually provides almost 100 pounds of rice for 50 families for 1 week.
$25.00 monthly provides 214 families with pinto beans for 1 week
$50.00 monthly provides 4800 farmworkers 1 bottle of water during the Beth-El Friday evening meal
$100.00 monthly enables the purchase of 2400 cans of fruit or vegetables when available from a local food bank.
Bayshore Presbyterian is humbled to be a part of the .03 a meal program
Water for the thirsty
We have installed an outside water fountain for the runners and their 4-legged friends.

Provide Meeting Space
For 17 AA meetings and other self-help groups.
“End 68 Hours of Hunger” – feeding school children at risk on the weekends.
House of Hope, Judeo Christian Clinic, The Spring, PC(USA) Disaster Relief, and many other programs locally, nationally, and internationally through various Presbyterian offerings throughout the year.
Scouts of America
We continue to be open and eager to respond to the ever changing needs of our community. We are happy to provide space for leadership meetings of the local Boy Scout Troops and meeting space for a Cub Scout and girls BSA Troop. Our vision includes collaborating with other churches to provide a real presence of Christ and His teachings in the South Tampa community. We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Troop #53.
