Our Spirit = Loving – Giving – Music – Beautiful Setting –
A Welcoming & Warm Church Family
The Spirit of Bayshore Presbyterian Church resides in a very unique facility. Referred to as ‘this old house’ it truly is an old Tampa Bay house that we converted in 1967. The old courtyard and garden were enclosed and transformed into a Sanctuary. Bedrooms now serve as classrooms and offices. Even the garage was converted into a much used Community Room. The warm wood paneling and beveled leaded glass add to the warm welcome!
Our Spirit sings on Sunday mornings at our 10:30 worship service, led by an incredible duet of experienced vocalists and one of the best pianists in the Tampa Bay area.
Offering Communion on the first Sunday of each month, to all who trust in Christ as Lord of their life are encouraged to come to the table we set in His name. While our worship is traditional, we are currently preparing ourselves to make some adjustments so we can touch the hearts and spirits of those who prefer a modern means of listening for God’s still, small voice today.
Throughout the year we invite musical artists from the area to participate in worship. Most recently, Gregorios Zamparas, Professor of Piano at UT, provided a special service along with two of his students.
