Rev. Claudia Sanow Henderson
We are pleased to welcome Rev. Claudia Sanow Henderson to Bayshore Presbyterian Church. A Florida native born in Jacksonville, Claudia has called Tampa home since 1980. She originally came to Tampa to work in the telecommunications industry after graduating from the University of Florida in economics and accounting. While a career in Corporate America used many of her gifts, it did not satisfy her desire to being doing all she could for the Lord and the church. After working on a Masters in Religion at USF, Claudia finally enrolled in Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary to be ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament. Since 2003 she has worked in various positions around this Presbytery – as Chaplain, Interim Supply and lastly as the Pastor & Head of Staff at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church, from where she retired in August of 2022. She is a friend and neighbor of Ginny Ellis, who encouraged Claudia to come out of retirement and use her gifts with our special congregation. Claudia has spiritual gifts in preaching, teaching and pastoral care and hopes to use them to bring others into the church.
